This 200 year old Charantais house sleeps 10-12 people with a large (8 x 4 mtrs) secluded HEATED pool.
Our
beautiful house is situated in a small hamlet called Banniere about 40 minutes
south of
The Region of Poitou-Charentes has a
micro climate with blue skies and is second only to the
Pass through the front gates onto a
long drive with a beautiful front garden, which faces south-west and gets the
sun all day long. The pool is directly to the side of the house. There is parking for 3/4 cars. An enclosed
courtyard at the back is ideal for that leisurely morning breakfast or lunch.
The spacious accommodation consists of:
Ground floor: Lounge, Kitchen/Dining
Room, Utility room, beautiful flagstone entrance hall, toilet.
First floor: Two double
bedrooms, one with en suite shower room/toilet, and one with en suite bath/sink
and separate toilet; interconnecting third bedroom/playroom with two futons.
Second floor: Two bedrooms both
with shower room/toilet both sleeping 4 in each. All
upstairs rooms and landings have polished wooden floors.
Central heating to
all floors. All linen is provided. A
high chair, stairgate and cot are available
Surrounded by woods, fields of
sunflowers and quiet roads you can relax and enjoy a walk in peace. Walk to the
patisserie in Montjean (1.5k) for your fresh croissants and bread. Local towns
and villages are very close with bars, restaurants and supermarkets. (Nearest
Sauze-Vaussais and Ruffec approximately 5k and 8k respectively). Visit the
historic sea
